SELAMAT HARI RAYA

Selemat Hari Raya to all Muslim readers, particularly the friends (and cousins I don't know about) celebrating it. Thos back home, in Singapore, in UK, in Canada and of course down under too. I wish I could visit, but nevertheless, have a great day raya-ing.

This makes me miss Brunei that much more. The multiple years since I relocated away from Singapore, without fail each year I'd visit the friends and daddy's staff. The tantilising treats, the kampong-grown durian, the green packets (no they're not the reason I go), the chance to dress up (actually I don't) or rather see the friends all dolled up.

Maybe one day I'll dig out a photo of me in a kebaya and then everyone will laugh at how retarded I look.
